No Haggling! Just Bargaining...
The key to negotiation is to know what the used car you want to purchase is worth. Without this information you cannot be confident when negotiating a price. But how do you know how much it is worth?
Determining a Used Car's Value
After narrowing down the endless list of used cars to a few that you would actually like to purchase (see Guidelines) then you are ready to determine the value. The standard used car values can be found in a few different places. Each one of this will give you a slightly different understanding or your cars value. But I recommend the average value between the Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds. Typically, Edmunds is slightly higher. You can choose more features with the Kelly Blue Book.If you want to use an online tool to tell you your trade-in value click here.
